Kurt to the chase
From an interview with Gus Van Sant about Last Days for the Sydney Morning Herald:
I said, 'I think I'm going to make something where the guy is a 14-year-old and wandering around his house and doesn't know what to do with his death' and she thought that was a good idea.
"And years later we were talking about Courtney playing a role in Sarah, a J.T. LeRoy book I was adapting, and she brought up the Kurt movie and she thought I should do it.
